We have indeed revealed this (message) in the Night of Power:
And what will explain to thee what the night of power is?
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:
Peace!...This until the rise of morn!

There is one special night in Ramadhan which Allah named it Lailatul Qadar (literally means as above, the Night of Power) and the night is better than a thousand months.
In Islam we are often offered rewards that stretches beyond the reaches of our imagination. Just how much is a thousand months? If we were to grasp the huge magnitude of the reward, surely everyone would be chasing for it, staying up all night for the last ten nights performing solah after solah or reciting the Quran or doing anything beneficial to collect the offered rewards. Unfortunately, we can't really see just how much is a thousand months. And so instead of finding the special night, we just tend to perform our daily routine (or perhaps with a simple addition of a two-rakaat prayers before Subuh, which is my lazy way to make the last ten nights slightly more special than the rest) and spend the rest of the night doing our worldly stuff.
One thousand months is equivalent to 83 years and 4 months. If I were to assume that the one thousand months are lunar months, which is approximately 29.5 days each, then one thousand lunar months is 29500 days, which is equivalent to 80 Gregorian years and 280 days. An insane amount of reward for just one night. Just how much is 80 years of reward? What if the reward is offered in monetary value instead of the 'intangible Hereafter reward'? Say, PETRONAS is going to offer their staffs of one thousand months worth of salary if they work hard enough for one special night which will be picked in random from ten given nights. Taking the current salary for a fresh graduate, one thousand months worth of salary is roughly RM 2.5 million. For one night of work. And you only have to find that one special night out of ten given nights.
Of course, my analogy is illogical. If there were such monetary reward offered, the country would be hugely affected by a serious inflation which would badly damage the purchasing power. But in the context of this 'intangible reward', nobody is losing anything. We can only gain.
Unfortunately, as I said, we will never be able to grasp just how much Allah is going to offer and reward us. It applies to myself, too. I'll just hope that on top of the reward offered, Allah will also bless me with dilligence, hardworking and an endless love to Him.
